Course Description/Learning Objectives

CRM Initial Cabin Crew Course

The CRM Initial Cabin Crew course is designed to develop and support the candidates by exploring strategies to optimize the use of all their resources. They will be introduced to basic concepts of CRM principles and objectives. Candidates will enhance communication and co-ordination skills relevant to the operator’s culture and type of operation. This course meets the regulatory requirements of the UAE GCAA - CAR AIR OPS.   

There will be no assessment of CRM skills, however feedback will be given during training.

CRM Recurrent Cabin Crew Course

The CRM Recurrent course is designed to refresh the crew with CRM skills and best practices required to improve performance. Candidates will review the most relevant incidents and accidents in relation to their operations. Communication and management skills of the crew member, as well as the importance of effective co-ordination and two-way communication between all crew members will be enhanced. This course meets the regulatory requirements of the UAE GCAA - CAR AIR OPS.  

Recurrent CRM training will be provided in a cycle such that all CRM training elements are covered over a period of 3 years.

CRM Senior Cabin Crew Course

The CRM Senior Cabin Crew Member course is designed to be very beneficial for the candidate. It focuses on role transition and the demands that come with it. This course emphasises on team management, synergy, decision making, teamwork and leadership. This course meets the regulatory requirements of the UAE GCAA - CAR AIR OPS. 

CRM Trainer Examiner Course

The CRM Trainer Examiner course supports new CRM Trainer Examiners who will assess the delivery of classroom CRM Trainers. This 1 day course discusses competencies of a CRM Trainer Examiner, highlights observations skills, training delivery methods, CRM standards and methods of assessment. On completion of this course, candidates will acquire the knowledge and techniques for assessing CRM classroom training.

CRM Train The Trainer Course

The CRM Train the Trainer course is designed to develop and support the new CRM Trainer with the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude required for their role. It prepares candidates to design, deliver and evaluate CRM Training for their organization. This course meets the regulatory requirements of the UAE GCAA - CAR AIR OPS.

CRM Train The Trainer Refresher Course

The CRM Refresher course is designed for the candidate to revisit the fundamentals of CRM training in their role as a CRM trainer by discussing any new methodologies, procedures and lessons learned. This course meets the regulatory requirements of the UAE GCAA - CAR AIR OPS.

Course Overview
CRM Initial Cabin Crew
This course is structured to provide basic knowledge of Human Factors and relevant understanding of CRM to the new crew member. The course content will reflect the scale/scope of the operation together with associated procedures and areas of operation which produce particular difficulties. Group discussions will be conducted in a structured and realistic manner, including reviews of accidents and incidents case-based studies.
CRM Recurrent Cabin Crew
This course content is structured to reflect the culture of the operator. It focuses on the scale/scope of their operation, associated operating procedures and addresses areas of operation which produce particular difficulties. Case studies and group discussions surround areas identified by the operator’s safety management system. Such events are linked to the management of passenger human factors, crowd control, passenger stress, conflict management, medical factors and Threat and Error Management.
CRM Senior Cabin Crew Member
This course is structured to allow the candidate to demonstrate knowledge gained in previous CRM training. Group discussions will address realistic, operational experiences. This course will enhance communication and co-ordination skills relevant to the culture of the operator and the nature of the operation. Various case studies will cover topics such as Threat and Error Management.
CRM Trainer Examiner Course
This course places emphasis on understanding the adult learner, reviewing stages of learning, learning styles and the learner development levels. Candidates will gain knowledge on delivering feedback in a structured method, to enhance trainer performance. This session covers coaching skills and includes methods to examine CRM delivery with guidance from UK Standards Doc 29 (UK-CAA).
CRM Trainer The Trainer Course
This course is structured around instruction and facilitation techniques which include candidate presentations and feedback. A strong focus on training design, adult learning principles and types of learners are built into this 5 day program. The course content addresses Non-Technical skills assessment, Threat and Error Management and Human Performance Limitations in detail. Instructor skills are further enhanced through learnings on Group dynamics, Group management and Personal awareness.
CRM Trainer The Trainer Refresher Course
This course, offers experienced CRM trainers a chance to refresh their knowledge on the progression of Crew Resource Management and Human Factors since the 1970’s. It places emphasis on trainer delivery, safety management, Threat and Error Management and the latest updates in CRM Training. This course revises modules on Group dynamics, Group management and Personal awareness.
